Edfu

The temple is a Ptolemaic from the Late Kingdom, and was built by Ptolemaeus 3 Euergetes 2 in 237 BC and finished in 57 BC. It clearly gives a view of the Greek influence in Egypt.

Remains have been found, dating back to the period of Ramses 2.

Its an impressive structure, probably because of the fact that its almost complete in its origine state, and gives us a good idea about the Late-Egyptian temples, and was dedicated to Horus.
