Kom Ombo
This temple of Kom Ombo was built in Ptolemaic times and its actual name was Temple of Suchos and Haruris. The general plan is like that of the temples of Dendera, Edfu and Philea and characteristic for the Ptolemaic period. The remains of earlier temples practically nothing is left, but some fundations. The two pricipal gods are Sobek the crocodile headed god and Haruris with the falconhead.
