Ramses 9 (KV6)
This rather small tomb wasn't even finished after a comparituve long reign of 18 years of Ramses 9. Only half of it reached a reasonable completion and the second half towards the end is unfinished, as is the pitt for the sarcophagus. Probably the disturbing and restless times of his reign contributed to that. It is also the very last royal tomb to be built in the Valley of the Kings. Buried he was, but probably not for long and his mummie was relocated by the priests to the royal cache DB320, where it was found among the other great kings. The tomb itself has been open since antiquity and probably robbed already then. Ramses 9 was also the last king of the 20th dynasty and with him the dynasty died. After him we have an obscure priest by the name of Herhor coming to light, anf Egypt fell apart again in two residences, Thebes for the South and Tanis for the North.
