Rehkmire (TT100)

Tomb situated at Qurna and close to the tomb os Ramose and Sennefer and is one of the older tombs and has a unique form by its height and long straight passage. It dates to the end of the reign of Thutmosis 3. Rekhmira held office as Vizier of Upper Egypt and Mayor of Thebes. The walls have iames of the various manimals, which inhabitat the south and you can see the trades of gold and silver and the rare articles like ivory.

Entrance LE25 for 2 tombs, since June 2003 its no longer allowed to take pictures

Tomb open, Rehkmere clear but dark, light is provided by mirrors.
