Mehu

Mehu had the title of “Vizier” and was the “Overseer of Priest at Djed-sut-Teti”, the piramidcomplex of Teti. Other important titles Mehu was bearing were “Overseer of the treasury”and Overseer of Upper Egypt” and “Overseer of the double Granery”. Not much is known about the family of Mehu. He was maried to two wives called Mebet and Neferkaus. Several sons are mentioned in the tomb,Mery and Hetepka. A daughter called Merut and another son is mentioned by the name of Khuy. The tomb dates back to the 6th dynasty, reign of Teti or Pepy.
