Sennefer (TT96)

Tomb situated at Qurna and close to Rekhmira and it rather a deep tomb, but its beautifully colored and famous for its grapes ceilings. Sennefer was the Mayor of Thebes and Overseer of the Garden of Amon during the reign of Amonhotep 2.The burial chamber is aprox 2,5 by 3,5 meters and 1,8 high. It has 4 pillars supporting the ceiling. On the sides of the pillars is Sennefer represented in various poses, accompanied by his wife Meryt.

Entrance LE25 for 2 tombs, since June 2003 its no longer allowed to take pictures
