Temple Seti 1 Luxor

The temple built by Seti the first is located ion the westbank of Luxor near the border of the old inundation area. In the same area we field in a row Medinet Habu, Ramesseum and the temple of Merenptah. Restorations have taken place although the temple took severe damage over the time. It was build as funeral temple for Seti 1.The temple is highly decorated, but only little color remaines, due to the fires in Roman times.
